Projects
fit2cook wants to give children opportunities to discover where their food comes
from and how it is produced.
We take children onto working farms giving them the chance to explore the whole
food chain “field to fork”. They see how certain foods are grown and then they
follow it up with a cooking workshop using these ingredients.
fit2cook projects have explored watercress beds, apple orchards, arable farms,
kitchen gardens and even water buffalo!
"fit2cook did a fantastic job of helping us set up our very first educational
project showing school children around a local watercress farm and the workshops
converted children to eating watercress... what a success"
