FINAL OF THE 2011 CREATE AND COOK COMPETITION

25 Hampshire secondary schools entered the 2011 Create and Cook Competition, 4 pairs of young cooks successfully made it through to the final - Pippa and Kathryn from Swanmore School of Technology, Lucy and Seb from Thornden School, Kitty and Steph from Robert May’s School and Sophie and Danielle from Bitterne Park School. They had 90 minutes to impress the judges with their creative cooking and teamwork to become the 2011 winners. And impress the judges they did with fantastic food, cooked with calmness and flair. Local Food Heroes - Hampshire Pork

Fit2cook Food Education has made this series of films with young cooks exploring where their food comes from. We follow them as they go out on to farms in Hampshire to meet their local food heroes. In this film two finalists of THE 2010 CREATE AND COOK COMPETITION visit Lodge Farm to see how Hampshire’s finest pork is produced, butchered and sold at their farm shop.
