Who We Work With

Fit2cook has worked with the following organisations developing and running innovative food education projects:

	fit2cook has run workshops and training courses for primary schools, pre-schools and Children’s Centres across Hampshire. We are an Hampshire County Council vendor.
	Working with The Southern Co-operative as our main sponsor, fit2cook has developed the Create and Cook competition for secondary schools.
	fit2cook has run a variety of workshops for The National Trust at their Winchester City Mill giving children hands on experience baking with the mill's own flour.
	fit2cook has run several training courses for the pre-school Learning Alliance showing their pre school leaders easy ways to bring cooking into the curriculum of under 5's.
	fit2cook has developed and run a variety of food and farming projects in conjunction with Hampshire Country Learning (now The Country Trust). These “field to fork” projects for schools have focused on learning about different locally produced foods .
	fit2cook has worked with large commercial food companies like Alresford Salads, developing food education projects that reach out to their local communities and give children hands-on opportunities to see how certain foods like watercress are grown and used in the kitchen.
	fit2cook has worked with agricultural students at Sparsholt Agricultural College running a project that links the world of agriculture to the food industry, looking at how to add value to farm produce.

We have also worked with local show organisations, The Romsey Food Show, The Alresford Show and The Watercress Festival running hands-on events for children.
